Video: Bridging Strategy, Innovation and Execution for Telehealth

What are the successful components of putting together an organizational strategy for telehealth?

Avizia was joined by Peter Kung, visionary and leader in applying real-world business models and practices to the field of telehealth, and executing to achieve success to discuss how to effectively develop and execute innovative telehealth business strategies.

Peter shared many insightful suggestions, including:

  • We need to accelerate the shift to value-driven strategies to achieve a better care experience for the individual, provide better health for populations and at a lower per capita cost.
  • Historically, less than 2% of projects produce more than 90% of value. To make a shift in value creation, it is critical that we focus on new business models and the delivery of care.
  • There is no size fits all approach in the development of a virtual care model. Meaning, each healthcare system must assess itself at an individual level, look at their target population and their willingness to pay, and what the relative cost position in the marketplace. Then you can create value-driven strategies specific to your organization.
